Limited to 77 units worldwide, the Porsche 911 GT3 R Rennsport is a track-only model that was officially unveiled during the Rennsport Reunion 7 at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Power comes from a naturally aspirated 4.2L six-cylinder engine making 611 hp, mated to a sequential six-speed constant-mesh gearbox sourced from the 911 GT3 R.
The 2,733-pound 911 GT3 R Rennsport was designed to run on E25 fuels, thus making almost carbon-neutral operation possible. Suspension wise, it features a cutting edge double wishbone suspension layout with a multi-link suspension incorporated at the rear. Its five-way KW adjustable racing shock absorbers feature a a blow-off function, enabling fine adjustments to be made without the need for time-consuming measurements of the suspension.
